This update just got released. Installing this package is quite big (around 110+ MB). Any useless junk that can be shaved off?

If you develop programs with Java, then you should not be concerned about shaving off anything off the 110+ Mb download?
End-Users of Java can just download the 15 Mb+ download.

sorry, i shoulda been more clear. I meant that AFTER the install, java takes up about 110+ MB. the install package is around 16, though - just as you stated.

Please post a link to J2SE 5.0 Update 5!
