Is this the one I sent you? If I'm not mistaken, you just have to install the patch then copy the Winrar folder, and make an installer from that. If you try to install it on a different location, it will copy the files inside your %programfiles%\winrar to your selected location.

it's easier, just apply the patch and then replace Descript.ion, Default.SFX, Zip.SFX, WinRAR.exe and rarnew.dat in the winrar installer

the icons for .zip/.rar are still the same just the gui of winrar changed, is this how its supposed 2 be?

the icons are from alienware theme.
installer can be extracted with winrar and was created with http://www.zupmaker.com but i can't find any switches, again the best i think is to apply the patch and replace the files on winrar installer... nice theme and i can preserve my language. cool!

But I don't think this is designed for Winrar 3.41. Because it has weird characters if you try to uninstall your winrar.

your right i just uninstalled winrar and there are funny characters.

go to settings>integration what you see there is chinese.
i suppose you downloaded it from fixdown or any other chinese page.
... i guess that you can extract the resources and apply them to your winrar english version...

edit: is going to be more difficult that what i thought, after applying the patch, the size for icons and resources is boosted so replacing the icons won't work

ive been playin a bit, kinda got tired of winrars default look, for the "Adding" window, so i tweaked it lol

ok this is what i did: i've found the 3.40 version of winrar and i patched it with foood icons (winrar gui), then used restorator2004 to import icons and bitmaps to my 3.41 (sp) winrar.
files changed: Uninstall.exe, WinRAR.exe, Default.SFX, Dos.SFX, WinCon.SFX, Zip.SFX, rarext.dll and formats\7za.dll.

bitmaps replaced are 48x48 and winrar original's are 48x36 so it looks a bit weird, i'm wondering what they changed in the main winrar.exe to boost the bmps size... pm me if you know please

hmmm, this doesnt seem to be a very good "chinese to english" translation...Im gonna go through and replace an english version with these icons/bitmaps...we'll see how it turns out...

EDIT: Well it seem that the tweak to let winrar use 48x48 or 64x64 icons is only known by one person and one person alone...so it doesnt seem that I will be able to update these correctly...I even went as far as to download the set from alienware, but didnt see any winrar stuff, so I took it off.

open winrar.exe in resource hacker & goto DIALOG > CMDWNDADD

then just tweak & play as u like post a screenshot when your done so we can see your progress
