Start the installation and go to to your windows folder (most of the time C:\Windows). Look there for a folder called "Downloaded installations" and there you will find dt346.msi newwink.gif

Are you using SP2?

ok i'll try and yes i'm using SP2 why?
Adiel
well i tried it and i got the msi file, now i can install silently with this file?
Bâshrat the Sneaky
Yes you can now, look in the Application Switches forum.

Why I'm asking that? Because that's why Daemon Tools won't install. Please use version 3.44, feedback on this forum showed this one is working in SP2. But soon there will come another version of D-tools that IS compatible with SP2. newwink.gif

BAM
@ ADIEL

I don't get it with you....
Here you say that you use SP2, but in another thread earlier today you ask if we could check out your svcpack.inf....
is my svcpack.inf allright

It shows all the pre-sp2 hotfixes !!!

You are here very short and drop very very much questions, but (forgive me if i'm wrong) i have this feeling that you just DON'T read at all about what is on this awesome site!
Adiel
BAM, i'm making unattended cd right now, with sp2 .. so what u saying that i don't need all thos fixes in my svcpack.inf?? its all included in the sp2?
BAM
huh.gif dunno where u are from, but....nevermind.

There are no hotfixes at this moment!!!!!!!!!!!
Not after SP2...i mean.

You are still including the "OLD" fixe's that were realesed AFTER SP1/SP1a.
call them pre-sp2 hotfixe's or whatever.

Start with a fresh copy of the original XPcd and slipstream the SP2.
After that there are NO hotfixes left for you at this moment.
All you have to do then is adding apps, tweaks and watever you wish to do with the XPcd you create!
Forget at this moment about hotfixing.

But this getting off-topic here right now....
Adiel
look man, i'm newb to this, thanks 4 the explanation, and my english is not so good.. i'm sorry 4 the inconvincence (dunno how 2 write it=\)

and thanks 4 the help..
BAM
YW.
I know...newbee is a hard life.

But it doesn't mean that doing a search on the topics can harm you...!
Probably you'll only be better off with that BEFORE asking help.
Saves a lot of time for all of us! Keep that in mind, it helps.

Enjoy MSFN. thumbup.gif
