Excellent Job scheccia but i was going to see if you could just do a English build for Nero Lite and for Nero Micro

but i think i understand your preference & choice, since you're Italian (?) therefore bundling Italian and English helps you and others with one package

forgot to ask: How much space savings if Italian language is removed?

is there a special switch to install the english language, i installed it and its in another language..

scheccia, cybpsych is right i typed English *only* as im not from Italian i have no need of it in the installer with Nero Lite and also Nero Micro

You say this is 9.4 version, but you did not updated all files? Nero Control Center is still using old files. Why is that?

Yes... a small error... in the next i fix.

I installed the Lite Version of Ita-Eng Nero, did my normal install but it didnt install in english. so i thought there might be a switch that i need to install the English version.

i used Micro ITA-ENG, ran the installer, chose English, and after installation, everything is in English.

probably it's because of your OS' localization is non-Eng maybe?

hey you might as well make new installers then you can do the English only for Nero Lite and Nero Micro and you can also update the files as some are using older files anyways keep up the good work

No, it says "file removed, complaints received from copyright owners".

Thats too bad that this software has to be removed due to complaints, if they actually released thier own verisons properly in the first place with NO BLOAT then we wouldnt have to have this happen..

My problem was i was trying to silent install instead of clicking on the exe file itself.. now english installed just fine.

Hi! Personally, I need Nero Express, Image Drive, Cover Designer, Toolkit (Burn Rights etc.) and MS VC++ 2005.

But, I don't know how to create my "personal" Nero.

theres a thread on how to create your own installer personalised for your needs but to get a key you are going to have to purchase it

You should read forum rules. There is no way to get Nero free, and nobody here will provide you a key, since it's illegal. Everything you said is already in this package. You only did not mentioned BurningRom. Well, when you install this Lite edition, just delete folder BurningRom and you should be OK.

How do i choose English when its going through a silent install?

with your Addon Unattended maker it says after build 1.7 but nero micro ita/eng is only build 1 are you going to update them..

Does this particular Nero Lite still install file association settings (NRG, NRA etc) into HKCR, or can you choose not to install them? And indeed, does the uninstallation program remember to remove everything Nero-related from HKCR in the end?

Someone above said no go with Windows 7 x64.. well it worked perfectly fine for me and im Win 7 x64.

The problem was i did not enter my serial correct, then it gives you an error : “Can’t load AdvrCntr4.dll”

As we know, the original one is not only in a big size, but also takes us a long time to install it. So I'm looking forward to the Lite One. It will takes less time for me to install it. If I can find out how to unattend install it, I will immediately integrate to my system install disk.

Since no-one responded to my post, I examined it myself. As I feared, it does install the Nero crap in HKCR, and furthermore, the uninstaller doesn't bother to remove it at all, leaving you with an unclean system unless you're smart enough to root through the registry and clean it out yourself.

This is the same problem found in Nero 7/8 Lite and it only entices me to start searching for portable versions, or even a different burning tool altogether.

Hi Scheccia I wanted to make you the compliments for the job... it would be fantastic if in the next changes on the new Micro versions you succeeded in inserting Nero Audio PLUG-INS (the mausaus that are in the lite version) & Nero VIDEOCD SUPPORT (to increase the compatibility of the video .avi with the table readers)

This shouldn't even be posted, its against the Nero TOS. You are not to repack the Nero installation and distribute it.
